Cancellation rules
Individual guests at the Youth Hostel
Before the stay
It is free of charge to cancel the reservation until the day before arrival at noon. For later cancellation than noon, there will be charged for 1 night.
During the stay
It is free of charge to cancel the rest of the stay starting with the next day. The cancellation shall be done before noon.
For later cancellation than noon, there will be charged for the rest of the stay or max. 2 nights.
Deposit
Deposit can be required as an assurance for the payment. The deposit will be subtracted from the final bill and payed back if the cancellation rules are fulfilled.
Individual guests at the campsite (cabins)
Before the stay
It is free of charge to cancel the reservation until 4 weeks before arrival..
For later cancellation than 4 weeks the deposit (25%) will not be payed back.
During the stay
There will be charged for the rest of the stay.
Deposit
Deposit can be required as an assurance for the payment. The deposit will be subtracted from the final bill and payed back if the cancellation rules are fulfilled.
Groups, schools and meetings
Before the stay
The reservation can be cancelled, totally or partly, at the latest 6 weeks before arrival. Cancellation of max. 50% of the final bill, can be done free of charge, up to 3 weeks before arrival. Cancellation of max. 25% of the final bill, can be done free of charge, up to 2 weeks before arrival. Smaller adjustments in the number of participants (10%) can be done free of charge, up to 48 hours before arrival. After that the number of participants is binding for all services. The compensation for cancellation made too late is 2/3 of the price pr. cancelled person. The compensation for cancellation later than 3 days before arrival is 100%
During the stay
There will be charged for the rest of the stay.
